Rail melting snow strip RXT type
Our RXT type rail melting strip has been widely used by German and other domestic railway companies in intercity and light rail systems. When the cold season arrives, the fluctuations of ice, snow, and ice rain may cause railway points to malfunction due to the accumulation of ice and snow between railway tracks. To avoid such damage, a flat iron track melting strip is placed on the side of the track for melting snow. For the melting of snow in different parts of the track, different lengths and heating powers are used. The commonly used ones are 330 W/m, 500 W/m, or 700 W/m rail melting strips, with a heating voltage of 220V AC. All heating rods have a cross-section of 13 × 5.5 mm, made of high-quality corrosion-resistant chromium nickel steel with IP65 protection level (waterproof tested).
