K-type thermocouples can directly measure the surface temperatures of liquid vapor, gas media, and solids in various production processes ranging from 0 ºC to 1300 ºC.
The potential generated in the thermocouple circuit consists of two parts: temperature difference potential and contact potential. Contact potential: It is a thermal potential generated when two conductors with different electron densities come into contact with each other. When two different conductors A and B come into contact, assuming that the electron densities of conductors A and B are Na and Nb, and Na>Nb, respectively, the diffusion rates of electrons in both directions are different on the contact surface of the two conductors. The number of electrons diffusing from conductor A to conductor B is greater than that from B to A.
